Get Ready, Launch!

Earlier this year, our AI Readiness Assessment was launched at an event held at Pinsent Masons’ Earl Street office.

The AI Readiness Assessment, developed in collaboration with Pinsent Masons, NorthCap Cyber, and JMAN Group, provides organisations with the opportunity to evaluate themselves across six critical areas that determine their capability to safely, efficiently, and effectively deploy and scale AI solutions. If your organisation is aware of AI solutions but unsure where to begin, or if your AI initiatives aren't meeting expectations, or if you have regulatory or ethical concerns about AI, our AI Readiness Assessment can guide you towards achieving significant impacts.

The day began with an enlightening presentation by Lord Chris Holmes, who addressed the significance of examining both the advantages and disadvantages of AI. Acknowledging AI as a human-driven initiative, he drew on his experiences as a professional athlete and the challenges he had to overcome, illustrating the parallels between these experiences and the development of AI.

After Lord Chris Holmes' presentation, Natalie Cramp from JMAN Group demonstrated the AI Readiness Assessment and introduced its six key pillars: Strategic Alignment, Data, People & Culture, Risk & Governance, Infrastructure, and Operating Model. Each pillar has been selected to offer a comprehensive assessment of a company's AI readiness, providing the foundation for personalised, holistic recommendations that will guide future data and AI strategy. In addition to receiving a quantitative assessment of the company's position in each category, the assessment also includes benchmarking data to show how participating companies compare to others in similar fields.

The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring Richard Davis from Inference Group, Cerys Wyn Davies from Pinsent Manson, Sam Brown from NorthCap Cyber, and Natalie Cramp. Audience questions sparked discussions on market regulations, how to comply with them, and how to stay ahead of the curve. Other topics included avoiding common pitfalls and, ultimately, how to maximise the potential of AI for a company. Lastly, the discussion touched on how to ensure that people can truly realise the value of AI.

Overall the launch event provided a comprehensive and insightful look into the future of AI readiness and its strategic implementation. With engaging presentations, interactive demonstrations, and thought-provoking panel discussions, attendees gained valuable insights into the key pillars of AI maturity, as well as practical strategies for navigating the evolving landscape of data and AI. The event truly set the stage for ongoing conversations and actions in harnessing AI to its fullest potential!
